Lantech Systems provides single nodes for small projects to full render racks for extraordinary speed and power with Dual-Core or Quad-Core processors. Render Nodes are available in 1U and 2U chassis and all can accept a full size 16x PCI-E video card such as the NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500, ideal for Gelato rendering.
"I would describe the Lantech Render 5300 as a fast and reliable render node, a valuable asset in an industry where time really is money." - Aaron Kaminar Reality Check Studios

What is a render node/farm
A render node is part of a render farm which is a computer cluster to render computer generated imagery (CGI), typically from film and television special effects. The rendering of images is highly parallelizable activity, as each frame can be calculated independently of the others, with the main communication between processors being the upload of the initial models and textures, and the download of the finished images. Multiple render nodes make up a render farm.
Rendering refers to the process of producing the finished images for a computer animated film. Rendering is a process amenable to "coarse-grained parallelism." This means you can divide the problem up into a bunch of smaller problems, and set a large number of computers to solving it simultaneously. So modern computer animation usually involved setting up a large "farm" of servers, all working together to render the film. Because the bar continues to be raised for the state of the art in computer animation, computational requirements are increasing rapidly.
Lantech Render Nodes with support for 64-bit computing provides exceptional performance on demanding applications to help you tackle even the toughest jobs and handle the applications of tomorrow.
